About us
Who Are We?
We are a sawmill with over 70 years of history and family tradition, located in Rubiá de Valdeorras, in the heart of the Serra da Enciña da Lastra Natural Park. Three generations have dedicated their effort and passion to providing high-quality wood products, always with a deep respect for the natural environment that surrounds us.
In addition to our industrial activity, we actively collaborate with various associations in our area, supporting cultural, sporting, and social initiatives. Through sponsorships and collaborations, we contribute to maintaining an active and dynamic society in the rural environment, reaffirming our commitment to the development and well-being of our region.
Our History
Our journey began seven decades ago when our family founded this sawmill to supply wooden crates intended for the packaging of slate, a key resource for the local industry. Over the years, with the arrival of new generations, we expanded our offering to include the manufacture of battens for slate installation and the marketing of structural timber for the construction and renovation of homes. More recently, we have introduced a new production line for sawn timber components for the construction of all types of packaging.
Innovation and Growth
In the last decade, we have made a significant effort in innovation, focusing on automation and the continuous improvement of quality in all our processes. We have incorporated state-of-the-art machinery and expanded our facilities with over 3,000 m² built in new warehouses for manufacturing and storage. Currently, we occupy an area of more than 25,000 m², which allows us to respond effectively and quickly to the needs of our clients. In our sawmill, tradition and modernity go hand in hand to offer tailored solutions, taking care of every detail and always betting on sustainability, excellence, and the development of our environment.
